About the results attached:
Detailed Answer:
Welcome back!
I've reviewed the reports,
Even though overweight, fortunately, no Diabetes and no hormonal disbalance except an insulin resistance. In obese patients, insulin resistance is common, caused by abdominal fat and may be associated with the polycystic ovarian syndrome.
So, if she has irregular menstrual cycle or hirsutism, an ultrasound of the abdomen (especially of the ovaries) would be recommended to approve the diagnosis.
The treatment will consist in weight loss and Metformin tablets. Both of them will improve insulin resistance, helping to prevent Diabetes in the future and treat polycystic ovarian syndrome if present.
There is also a low Vit D level that needs Vit-D supplements (1000 UI daily for 3-4 months).
A slightly elevated white blood cells may be due to some infection (notably urinary infection), so a urine sample routine and micro-analysis would be of help to confirm it.
Hope the information will help. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Kind regards,
Dr.Mirjeta
