What Do These CT Scan Findings Indicate?

Question: I have had microscopic hematuria for a "known" 4 months; with one episode of gross lasting about 4 days. I've had a CT scan with contrast, and a Cystoscopy. The urologist said "don't worry", come back in a year. I now have scheduled GYN ultrasound and Colonoscopy. I just read about maybe Aleve could cause kidney problems.... I've been taking it daily (with a Pepcid) for probably 25 years... for arthritis and back pain. I'm now 70 yrs. old. I'm thinking I need to stop the Aleve immediately. Any other thoughts.... and is it wise to just "don't worry" (assuming these last tests are normal)?

Brief Answer:
Microscopic Hematuria could be due side effect of Naproxen.
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for your query and highlighting details .
In absence of any positive findingsin CT Scan or endoscopic examination(Cystoscopy) the microscopic hematuria that you had is most likely to be due to side effect of Naproxen (Aleve) that you have been taking for last 25 years .
Discontinue taking Aleve and repeat your routine urine analysis after one month .
Do not worry .The problem of hematuria will get resolved once you stop taking drug.
Hope I have answered your query ,please feel free to ask if you have more questions I shall be happy to help you
