What Do These Fasting Sugar Levels And BP Readings Indicate?

Question: I am a 60 year old male. I had a surgery in July and prior to this an infection caused my blood sugars to go into the upper 200 range. My doctor put me on 10 units of lantus. I test my glucose twice daily with fasting readings between 113-121. After meal testing ( 2-3 hours post meal) shows a reading range between 90-104. I have been watching carbs and sugar consumption pretty closely and have lost about 25lbs. I'm 6'3'' and weigh 250 lbs.
I stopped taking my insulin over two months ago with direction my pharm-d and the numbers actually got better. Are my numbers considered in the normal range? My BP runs 115/72
Thanks.

Brief Answer:
your sugar level and B.P is well controlled and within normal range
Detailed Answer:
WELCOME
I UNDERSTOOD YOUR QUERY.
normal range for fasting sugar is 70-110 mg/dl
normal range for sugar 2 hours after meal is: less than 126 mg/dl.
normal B.P : systolic 100- 140 mm Hg
diastolic 70-90 mmHg
so your sugar level and B.P is well controlled.
hope you are satisfied with the answer.
