What Do These Following Ultrasound And MRI Reports Indicate?
Question: Hi, I injured my calf 4 months ago working out, it hurt bad behind the knee, some swelling, As it felt better I went back to working out and kept re-aggravating it. Finally went to ortho suregeon, He thought I may have DVT and sent me for ultra sound, she said I had bakers cysts, behind the knee and side of the knee, most likely ruptured. But about 4 weeks ago, noticed lump on inside of upper calf, right below knee, Felt like muscle tear and was more prominent when leg flexed. The ultra sound showed a small spot on calf, of unknown origin, she said it was superficial and not getting blood which she said was good sign. Had Mri this past Monday, got results today and my ortho still doesn't know what it is, 5.7x1 x 1.8cm..No pain and hasn't changed size or shape since it appeared 4 weeks ago. He has I also have muscle tear in posterior medial meniscus, and some Varicosities are present in medial aspect of knee. small bakers cyst present..Very worried about tumor. Interesting it showed up in same area and same leg of injury. Any advice appreicated
