Brief Answer:
Hello dear. Just an isolated elevation of CEA is not cancer.

Detailed Answer:
Hello dear.
Welcome to HCM.
Thank you for the query. I understand your concern.

Please do not worry. An isolate elevation of CEA in the absence of other sign and symptoms does not qualify for cancer diagnosis.
More over it is just a borderline elevation and can be a test defect.
I would like to know why this test was ordered?
Are there any disease related signs or symptoms like weight loss, loss of appetite, extensive sweating at night, change in stool habit, bleeding or constipation in stool, pain abdomen etc.
Please revert back with the details.
Rest assured.

Feel free to ask further
Thanks and regards
