Question : Hi. I have a dark spot, almos black on the inside of my labia minor thats been there now for 3-4 years. Is this normal?

Black spot inside the labia minora is a normal finding sometimes (as your doctor said) but constantly keep watch on its color, size, texture and whether it is painful or not.

Any new change needs evaluation by your treating doctor.

There are so many causes for it like mole, melanoma, wart and vulvar cancer.

As in your case it is there for 3-4 years. without any associated symptom it can be a normal finding.
