Brief Answer:
Bartholin cyst should be ruled out.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us.

According to your given information, lump could be a Bartholin cyst. It is located outside the vagina on the lower labia majora and typically one sided & painless. Sometimes, it is painful if it gets infected.

Small bartholin cyst needs NO treatment. But, if cyst is large enough, you may need to get it drained out surgically by doctor.

Alternatively, if it causes local discomfort and dyspareunia (painful coitus) then a warm bath or a heat pad can give some temporary relief.

Therefore, I would suggest to consult with your gynecologist for careful pelvic examination. He/she can perform few relevant tests like per vaginal examination, speculum evaluation to identify the cause.

Hope, it helps for your information. Kindly, close the discussion if you don't have any other query. Good luck.

Regards,
