What Does A Negative Vulval Biopsy Report Indicate?

Question: "to be answered by dr XXXXXXX Abraham" hey doc went to the othe4 specialist so he diagnosed me with vulvar dermatitis....he went ahead and did a skin biopsy of the vulva area so gotta wait till the biopsy results come back he gave me betamethasone dp 0.05% crm so guess we will see if this is the answer and what the biopsy results are he said he definitely believes this is a skin issue and is nothing infectious.... he said i may have a really deep fungal or yeast or ect that is deep down under the skin and its been so long ive had this its just gotten so bad....and that i need to be on medicine or steroid cream or ehatever longer than what i have been but i really hope this biopsy will show what the heck is going on and we will have a answer i really really hope n pray we will finally get to the bottom of this

I sincerely hope , more fervently than you, that we get to the bottom of this.
A vulval biopsy is actually the last step, so that there is no more investigation beyond it.
I too have always believed that it is nothing infectious, no herpes etc.
It is a chronic vulval condition, I was thinking about vulvodynia, but it may very well be vulvar dermatosis.
The biopsy will tell us what is the case.
Let me know if the betamethasone helps.
How are the symptoms now ?
