What Does A Rash Under Breast Indicate?
Question: I have a rash under my left breast for six months was treated with betnovate cream and daktacort cream while the redness of rash has improved it is still their it is about3cm I suffer from rheumatoid arthritis on methotrexate 12.5mg and abacept infusion monthly it looks like a bit of eczema but is not clearing would like your opinion

I have seen the attached picture.
The rash looks like an eczematous fungal infection .
Suca skin rash needs to be managed by a regular treatment with a combination of topical steroid and antifungal creams .
I don't see anything wrong with the medicines you have been using but the issue might have been irregular or inadequate treatment .
A continuous application of the combination cream for atleast three weeks is necessary in such cases so as to avoid recurrence. So you can restart treatment again .
Remember to wear cotton clothes and cotton undergarments and to avoid application of any moisturisers or oil to the area .
