Brief Answer:
Regular follow up

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
ASCUS in pap smear means abnormal squamous cells of unknown significance. These cells are present both in infection as well as in premalignant lesions in the cervix.
The protocol for follow up of this pap smear is to get repeat pap smear after3-6 months after a proper course of antibiotics.
There is not something to worry about, however a regular follow up is must.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
