What Does Elevated Creatine Kinase Level After Taking Statin Suggest?

Question: Hi. I've been on a statin, baby aspirin, and 75 mg of plavix for 5 years now.
From time to time, my CK is only mildly elevated. Just 5-10 points higher.
My doctor says its normal from time to time with statin use.
Anyway, I feel fine but I recently noticed I have bibles in my urine. Urine color is usually light.
These bubbles appear daily, usually before bed and in the morning.
Do I need to be worried about kidney problems?

Brief Answer:
Urinary tract infection
Detailed Answer:
Hello
Thanks for the query
Bubbles in urine can signify two things
1. Urinary tract infection
2. Vescio-colic fistula ( development of tract between colon and bladder )
The second is unlikely as it is usually seen post abdominal surgery. Urinary tract infection is the more likely scenario
here is what you should do
1. Give your urine for routine and culture
2. I would emperically treat with antibiotics like ciporoflox twice a day for 7 days
3. if the symptoms do not improve I recommend you to undergo cystoscopy after approaching a urologist
I hope I was of help, if you have any further queries please get back to me
Regards
