Detailed Answer:
Hi..
Welcome to HEALTH CARE MAGIC..
As per your complain and the image attached it is appearing that your Plica Fimbriata that is a fold of mucosa present under the tongue one on either side of mid line is inflamed and swollen (as you've rightly mentioned)..
There is also a blood blister present near it..
Both can be due to burning of tongue with hot foods or can be due to traumatic injury caused with some hard foods..
Nothing to worry..
You can start gargling with warm saline solution..
Also please tell me that is the area painful or burns when you take food ?
Since how many days is it present ?
Please revert back with answers..
Regards..

Hi..
Welcome back..
You can apply numbing gel containing Lignocaine or choline salicylate over it to relieve pain..
You can take anti-inflammatory painkillers like Ibuprofen..
Doing cool compresses over it or sucking ice can help in reducing inflammation that will reduce redness and swelling..
Avoid hot and spicy foods to prevent further irritation..
Hope this helps..
