What Does My MRI Scan Report Indicate?
Question: Friend -always active - growth removed from spine 25 years ago. July this year, problems walking, escalated to now using walker to stand, drags feet. Dr. MRI Brain - clear. Dr. blood tests, fine. Dr. to Nuero - he said he can't help her, back to her doctor. Dr. MRI results today - scheduled next appt for next week. INSANE. She can't walk. Trying to find out what is causing this - where to go? Currently lives in MO - think she needs XXXXXXX Medical or Mayo clinic. Always healthy, very active and BAM. I fully believe doctor should have ordered a spinal MRI @ same time. Something is drastically wrong. Depression now major issue. She's 54.

Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your question and understand your concerns.
I agree with your opinion about spinal cord MRI.
Conditions to consider include transverse myelitis, vascular malformations, hematoma of the spine, spinal stenosis, etc.
I think after the spine MRI the situation will be clear about the treatment.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Take care.
