What Does My Chest X-ray Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Fri, 16 Jan 2015
Question: Chest x-ray reports that there is slight haziness in the right paracardiac region. However blood reports are normal EXCEPT for high percentage of lymphocytes (54). No other symptoms, such as cough, fever, loss of appetite etc. ESR is within normal limits at 12. Had typhoid (confirmed through blood culture also) two months back but recovered now. What could this be due to. Is there something to worry about? Patient is 43 years old.

This pertains to my wife doctor. Have attached a photo of the X-ray. No, she does not have any fever, cough or expectoration. This was done as part of my company's annual health check program for executives and their spouses.

Brief Answer:
Normal.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Friend.
In an asymptomatic patient this Xray finding is considered insignificant and normal.
If a person has fever, weight loss associated then CT Chest is recommend.
I hope it helps.
If you have any further query, please ask me.

Thank you so much. I got worried because the lymphocytes percentage was also higher than normal range. But she is asymptomatic.
