Question: My HDL cholesterol is 106 and my ldl is 114. My triglycerides are normal at 67 and my other bloods are all normal except very slight low RBC count. My liver enzymes and kidney and blood sugar are normal. Is my HDL too high? My mother says no one else in the family us that high. I'm a 37 year old female.

Brief Answer:
Your HDL level is not too high.It is considered as good cholesterol.

Detailed Answer:
Helllo

Your HDL level is not too high.Elevated HDL may be due to genetic, chronic alcoholism, treatment with oral estrogen replacement therapy, excess aerobic exercise, medicines like statins etc.
High HDL is not concerning. It is considered as good cholesterol.
High HDL is associated with decreased risk of coronary heart disease(CHD).
HDL cholesterol scavenges and removes LDL(bad cholesterol).

However, very high HDL may be atherogenic and it may be harmful.

In fact low HDL should be a matter of concern.
