What Does My Thyroid Test Report Indicate?
Question: I took T3 to help with weight loss. Now my blood test shows controdicting levels. My tsh is .36 my total t4 is .9 and my free t4 is .4. . Could this be due to me taking extra t3 medication?

This result is likely due to suppression of thyroid function due to taking the extra T3. I would suggest you work with your doctor to decide how to taper your dose down and ultimately discontinue this medication.
Taking excess thyroid hormone is not a good way to lose weight and may in fact be dangerous.
Please contact your doctor to work on this. He might suggest a repeat thyroid panel in 6-8 weeks to include TSH, total T3, free T4.
