Hello
Thank you for all the answers. There is a suspicious area of fracture fragment of base of 5th metatarsal bone. A true lateral view would have cleared it. As your pain has improved so it shows that your fracture is healing. Following measures will help you in smooth recovery:
- rub ibuprofen cream over pain area of foot twice a day
- acetaminophen one tablet in case of pain.
- soaking feet in warm water gives soothing effect. You can continue that. Do keep feet dry afterwards.
> AVOID:
running or stressing the foot.
jumping.
leaving feet in cold(incase outside weather is cold)
Fracture healing is a gradual process and if proper care is taken then usually it resolves 8-10 weeks. In some individuals it can prolong as well.
Hope I have answered your query. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help if not then don't forget to close the discussion and rate it.
Wishing you good health !!
