What Does This CBC Report Indicate?
Question: I would like an opinion on my recent CBC report. 29 years old, non smoker, athletic. 6 feet and 185 pounds. Around 14 percent bidy fat. Cholesterol and lipids were all great. Triglycerides very low.
Brief Answer:
Your CBC is basically normal.
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for using our service. Your CBC is basically normal. You have a WBC in 4.1 which is slightly below normal. This could be secondary to a viral infection or what is called cyclic neutropenia, a benign blood condition in which there is a decreased production from the bone marrow. The other two values that are high are evidence that your bone marrow is reacting to produce more cells. You are healthy and don't need to worry.
