What Does This CT Scan Report Indicate?

Question: Please suggest if this report shows any serious cancer issues or life threatening or any major surgery is required for same. My mother got admitted in hospital for gallbladder stone removal and doctor suggested a CT scan as he saw some growth during Laparoscopy. The CT scan report just came in and doctor is not available to provide his recommendations, we wanted to get this looked asap and suggest what is truly the picture.
Brief Answer:
yes this appears to be gall bladder cancer
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
The CT scan shows a mass which appears to be gall bladder cancer. Also this is a bit advanced. Was any biopsy done?
Given this scenario I would recommend a whole body PET scan followed by surgery or if surgery does not look feasible, then chemo followed by surgery.
Hope this helps. I will be available for follow up.

Which stage of gallbladder cancer is this? Do you see this as life threatening? We are still waiting for biopsy reports.

Brief Answer:
Yes possible in XXXXXXX
Detailed Answer:
You can meet Dr MP Ramprabu (Medical Oncologist) at MIOT hospitals or Dr Prasanth Ganesan (Medical Oncologist) at Adyar Institute XXXXXXX for further management. They can guide you accordingly. I don't think this is possible at XXXXXXX
Stage seems to be at least III. Obviously biopsy report is required to confirm the diagnosis of cancer. This can be life-threatening if not treated early.

Can I send you video of laproscopy by any chance ? Or email id we went to adyaar for consultancy they said it's not treatable .
Brief Answer:
No video will not help
Detailed Answer:
I don't think video can be sent through this system and video will not help also, as I am a medical oncologist and not really capable of interpreting a surgical video.
I suggest you take a second opinion either at MIOT hospitals or Apollo Hospitals XXXXXXX Some treatment can definitely be offered.
