What Does This Hb Electrophoresis Report Indicate?

Question: hello I am 27 yrs old, LMP 2 March 2015, recently done report says HbA 76%, , HbA2 17% and HbF 5.3%....I am little worried. How should I proceed ?
Brief Answer:
possible beta thalasemia trait
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for the query to hcm,
I would like you to attach the report please or simply upload it as this Hb electrophoresis report gives a picture of a possible beta thalasemia trait/ carrier with 17% foetal Hb levels.
In any case there is no need to be worried if you are a beta -thal trait as it would not be passed to your child unless your husband is also a carrier. So husband's Hb electrophoresis is also important to quantify chances for thalasemia major in child hence.( i presume you are pregnant for having missed periods since MARCH 2).
Kindly attach the report.
Regards
