Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thank you for posting your query.
I have noted your wife's symptoms, her ultrasound and MRI reports.
The reports are suggestive of severe nerve compression at L5-S1 level and her urinary symptoms are because of that.
It is better to go for surgery, as the chances of recovery without surgery is very less.
There is no guarantee of 100% recovery after surgery but there are high chances of recovery, if the surgery is done at the earliest. On the other hand, without surgery, almost 90% chances are that she would not recover.
I hope my answer helps. Please get back if you have any follow up queries or if you require any additional information.
Wishing you good health,

Thanks for your advise
i have Another query before going for surgery,
As this MRI report is almost 2month back and patients had recovered (from both back pain and little bit from urine pass with Traction therapy with advise of Dr. Orthopedic , ) should i go for again MRI test for better position of L5 over S1 and lumbar canal AP diamter of at L5/S1
or There is any bad impact of health due frequent MRI test.,Plz Advise.
Regards XXXXXXX XXXXXXX
MRI is not needed now.
Detailed Answer:
Thank you for getting back with more information.
If she is getting better, then, there is no need to go for another MRI. She can continue the current line of treatment.
Only if there is no improvement and there is a plan to go for surgery, a recent MRI is needed.
There is no side effect on the body due to repeated MRI scans. If needed, they can be repeated.
Best wishes,
