What Does White Spot On The Foreskin Suggest?
Question: I noticed a spot white spot on my foreskin looked like a hair folicle but was bit bigger. I squeezed it thinking it was a spot but now its a hard lump help me
Hi, it must have been a boil due to a blocked gland or hair follicle. Thats why it must have been white. When you burst it, it must have become infected. That is why it is now hard and painful. I usually prescribe my patients Cap Amoxycillin and Tab Tinidazole for 5 days. This will be able to help you. Do let me know if you need any more help.

Its not at all painfull now!! Just a little stingy when i squeeze it!! Im worried ive caused damged to it :-(
Brief Answer:
It could be a hair follicle infection.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Do not worry.
It is probably a hair follicle which would have formed a boil leading to hardness due to puncturing. If it is close to the glans then it could be the gland that secretes smegma.
You could upload a photograph of the lump so we can have a better idea as to what it could be.
If it is painful and red then you might require a course of antibiotics. If not then it should get resolved over a period of 4 to 6 days.
If there are any further queries on the subject do feel free to ask.

Brief Answer:
You need a course of antibiotics and you will be fine.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
I saw the picture. It looks like a boil due to a hair follicle infection. You need not panic. I usually advice my patients a course of antibiotics like Augmentin and Tinidazole both twice daily for 5 days and any pain medicine depending upon the level of pain. You could also apply mild warm compresses to soothe the lesion.
Do not worry and you should be fine in a few days.
Feel free to ask any more queries if you have.
