What Is The Dosage Of Thyronorm Based On These TSH Levels?
Depends on weight and other factors
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX,
Welcome to HCM. I had gone through your question and understand your concerns.
The starting dose of thyroxine (thyronorm) depend on many factors like weight, type of hypothyroidism (iodine deficiency or hashimoto's), the speed at which normalcy is needed (like faster during pregnancy), presence of heart disease, age etc. Thyroxine replacement (in mcg of thyronorm) for hypothyroidism is a little more that 1.5 times your weight. That is, for a 60 kg person the starting dose is 100 mcg of thyroxine. This is for grossly elevated TSH with t3,t4 on lower side.
In similar case like yours in which TSH is only moderately elevated and T3, T4 is well within normal limits, I usually start at a dose of 25-50 mcg depending on the weight. The initial dose is just empirical. The dose is adjusted after 6 weeks based on repeat thyroid function reports to keep TSH in a range of 0.5 to 3 miu/ml.
So kindly consult a physician / Endocrinologist and get started on medications. He may also order for an anti TPO antibody (to find out the cause of hypothyroidism) and an ultrasound of your thyroid gland.
Hope
Hope I have answered your question. If you have any further questions I will be happy to help.

50 mcg is the dose I usually start with
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Welcome back,
There is some limitations in prescribing medications online without seeing the patient due to medico legal reasons.
In a similar case I will start with 50 mcg of thyronorm. Make sure you discuss this with your primary doctor.
