
Why Am I Having Abdominal Pain While Urinating?

Question: i have pain on the left side when i urinate

- Does your pain radiate to any other part of your body?
- Is there any aggravating or relieving factor?
- Is it associated with movement, respiration or food intake.

- Have you noticed blood in your urine?
- I would also like to know about your menstrual periods.

the pain is sharpe. not related to food intake. just before i fam finished urinating the pain is sharp. i don't have a menstrual cycle anymore. the pain started yesterday but is not as bad today but is still there on the left side. i am still sexually active.

Following investigations will be helpful
-Urine for routine and microscopic examination then culture sensitivity
-Renal function test
-Diagnostic ultrasound in conjunction with abdominal X-ray
- Intravenous urogram
