Why Are Oleanz Plus, Szetalo And Symbal Prescribed?
Medications
Detailed Answer:
Thanks for your question.
Oleanz plus has a generic name of olanzapine. You are on a low dose, 5mg. Olanzapine is in the atypical antipsychotic class of drugs, and is used in several different ways, primarily for either depression, mood-stabilization, or psychosis. For you, I'm guessing it's being used as augmentation (an extra boost) for antidepressant treatment (see the drugs below).
Szetalo has a generic name of escitalopram. You are on a medium dose, 10mg. This is an antidepressant, in the SSRI class of drugs, which is used in the treatment of depression and anxiety.
Symbal has a generic name of duloxetine. You are on a low dose, 30mg. This is an antidepressant, in the SNRI class of drugs, used in the treatment of depression and anxiety.

Detailed Answer:
Good question.
For low mood and anxiety, I would increase the escitalopram from 10mg to 20mg. Often, a lower dose will not be effective, but a higher dose will. Alternately, you could increase the duloxetine to 60mg for the same reason. This would have to be done under the close supervision of a psychiatrist.
There are no natural supplements that have been demonstrated to be as effective as these medicines in the treatment of low mood and anxiety.

Detailed Answer:
5HTP does the same thing as the medicine you're taking, except much, much less effectively, with greater risk of side effects. I recommend asking your psychiatrist about increasing the dose of your medication slowly. Taking 5HTP might increase your risk of serotonin syndrome, which is very dangerous.

Detailed Answer:
Yes, talk to your doctor about increasing your medications as I suggested above to help with anxiety. This will make breathing easier as your anxiety improves.
