1.When did you notice the spot?
I noticed it yesterday.
2.How big is it?
It's pretty small - maybe about 2 cms? Maybe even smaller?
3.Any itching,visual problems,pain etc?
None
4.Just a single spot or multiple?
One single spot
5.Ever noticed similar lesions before?
Never
6.Do you work out in the sun,in any toxic environment?

It actually looks like an age spot? I just think it's weird that it just appeared.
Do you have any ideas of what it could be?
Many thanks for your help.

Hi XXXXXXX
When we talk about brown spots, the most common probability could be hyperpigmentation like a mole. The other common probabilities are skin tags, viral warts. It would be better to get examined and evaluated by a Dermatologist to come to a diagnosis and get treated accordingly. A few investigations like tissue biopsy might be required.
Mole shouldn't be a point of concern at present but if you notice any change in the size or texture of the mole in future then an immediate dermatologist opinion and excision of the mole is advised.
Viral warts and skin tags are usually present due to viral infection in low immunity people and require excision or cautery. These are permanently curable conditions.
Hope this answers your query.
