
Why Can't Pantoprazole Sodium Be Taken While On Omeprazole And Ranitidine?

Question: I have just been advised that my pharmacy will not renew my prescript for Pantoprazole Sod because I take Omeprazole and (otc)Ranitidine as I recently has pnuemonia, also I find that neither meds act as goodn as Nexium. I've taken thease medication for years and this the first time I have been told to stopn taken both and consult a Doctor. I have a family doctor and have contacted the office, however seeing your notice as I was looking up the medicine thought I get faster answer from,while I wait on my doctors reply. THANK YOU.
