My 12 month old son started with a mild rash on his cheeks witch I thought was just from teething but now it has worsened and his whole face is covered in a red scaly, bumpy rash. He also has acne like marks on his neck front and back as well as behind his knees. Please Help!!
Hi AMber.
Your son may be suffering from Atopic dermatitis. DOes any of your family members have asthma, dust allergy, allergic rhinitis, eczema? If yes, then possibility of AD becomes even stronger. I suggest you start using Desowen cream on the affected parts. See a good dermatologist near you for further consultation and information on AD.
it will be better if you get your baby examined by paediatrician on first hand and get advice
there may be some element of bacterial infection also and that should be ruled out
expecting early recovery of your kid
