2 Year Old, Asymmetric Rib Cage. Recently Had Chest Infection. Is This Deformation Due To Fall?

My 2 year old girl has an asymmetry to her rib cage, I haven't noticed this before. I read about pigeon chest. If it is this, can it be treated with a brace over time or is surgery likely?
It's only on one side? Is this a genetic thing? Or could her ribs have been deformed through a fall in the past? She had a recent x-ray (standing up) for a chest infection and I was told everything looked normal. I will be referring her onto an orthopaedic consultant soon, but just wanted to see another opionion.

Hi,
Thank you for asking question on health care magic
asymetry of the rib cage is some times common in young children
if he has any other deformities of the wrist and ankle as well as spine ricketts has to be excluded
if it is not ricketts and it is the sole deformity of the rib cage only it becomes normal as the child grows up
better consult pediatrician and exclude ricketts
you are welcome to ask more queries if needed
Hope this answer will serve your purpose
Take care
