29 Day Old Child, Diet Of NAN PRO, Watery Stools, Stomach Bloating, Now On Low Lactose Milk. Is He Lactose Intolerant?
Hi, my baby boy is now 29 days old. He s on NAN PRO for more than 2 weeks already (half finished the second can of milk) when his discharge changed from mushy to watery. He would poop right after feeding, with bloated stomach and cries a lot. He is usually of gentler temperament. We feed him a low lactose milk, from other brand and he seemed ok now. But the nutrient does not quite compare with those of NAN s. Does this mean he is lactose intolerant? Should we shift to lactose free NAN?

the problem is not because of lactose intolerance.
this is very common problem associated with formula milk whether of any brand,
and problem worse if fed by bottle.
exclusive breast feeding till 6 month of age is the only answer to your problem,
but can get some relief by burping.
