31 Year Old, Bleeding For 12 Days. Prescribed For Test, Not Suggested Medicine. How To Stop Bleeding?

Hello doctor,
my age 31 and living with my husband.
I was expecting mensurable period by may 25 but period is came June 9. up to till now bleeding is going on for 12 days. I consulted one Gyn, she did not recommend any medication. Instead she asked me to come for test by June 26th. but I'm very much concern about bleeding. How to stop this.

thanks for your query.
You could have had an abortion.
Other causes could be anxiety, stress, hormonal imbalance, hypothyroidism etc.
Polycystic ovaries and endometrial hyperplasia also could cause such a pattern.
If a gynecologist did not do anything about the bleeding, it is indeed strange.
Have a second opinion for necessary tests and pelvic sonogram.
A curettage maybe required for diagnostic and therapeautic purposes.
