33 Weeks Pregnant, Large Sore Lump On Right Labia Majora That Itches. What To Do ?
I am 21 yrs old im 33 weeks pregnant. About a week and a half ago i noticed a lump on my right labia majora i have had this before it would pop n puss on its own after a weeks or two. This time it seems to keep getting worse its now the size of a large grape its very tender and sore and occasionally itches. Im embarrased to ask anyone. What could this be and what should i do?
The possible causes for your lump are:
Folliculitis which occur due to infection of hair follicles.
Clogged sweat glands can form as lump and when they get infected presents as painful lump.
Infections like warts, herpes, molluscum contagiosum etc cause lump on labia majora.
Any type of infection should not be neglected in pregnancy as that can affect the well being of the baby better to consult gynecologist and get examined to find out the actual nature of the lesion.
Depending on that treatment can be taken.
Take care.
