34 Weeks Pregnant. Ultrasound Taken. Anything To Worry?

Hi Doctor, My wife is into 34 weeks pregnancy and while doing ultra sound,the following reports came out.


no. of foetus- single
cardiac activity: good
heart rate: 143 beats per min. hving regular rhythm
fetal move- good
liquor- less than adequate
AFI- 5 to 6 cm
placentena- situated anteriorly at upper segment
presentation- cethalic
at time of scan
cervix- measure-3.8x 3.4 cm
internal os-closed
cervical canal- closed
fetal parts- long bone,spine,head,abdominal organ- normal
no abnormality
fetal measurement- B P D= 945 CM( 38 weeks 3 days)
H C- 33.8 cm(38 week 5 days)
A P= 34.2 cm(38 week)
F L = 7.37 CM( 37 Week 05 days)- as per these days- intra uterine gestational age is abt. 38 week 01 day +_ 07 days
weight of foetus= 3411+_ 498 gm

EDD by CGA= 18/05/2013 +_ 07 days
impression- intra uterine pregnancy = showing single living foetus of 38.1 week +_ 7 days gestation


Is there anything to worry about ? Please suggest .

Thanks for posting your query on health care magic.
There can be subjective variation in USG interpretation.
As long as baby weight and growth is fine, there is nothing to worry.
Amniotic fluid level is a bit low.
I recommend her to keep a check on daily fetal movement count.
Also repeat USG after a week.
