Scan During Pregnancy Showed Live Fetus Within Uterine Cavity. How Is The Health Of The Baby?
hi, my name is sharmila just now i took 5th month scan, in that report they mentioned--- single live fetus is noted with in the uterine cavity. presentation: Breech with active movements at the time of scanning. Placenta: Anterior wall with Grade I maturity. Not low lying no evidence of retroplacental haematoma. Liquor: Adequate AFV=14 means could you please tell me what is the health of baby.
Fetal Biometry: BPD 52.3 mm AC 179 mm, FL 36.1 mm gestational Age :22 week .EFW 486 gm +/-10%
Your Ultrasound findings suggests that
1.Fetus is breech(means buttock is towards downside) in position at the time of scanning. Most common position is(cephalic) head down, but it is too early to tell the final position acquired by fetus.Fetus changes its position continously.so,this finding is normal.
2.Placenta is also normal. No e/o clot or hemorrhage.
3.Liquor is also normal in volume. This is also healthy condition as fetus requires fluid for movement.
4.Fetal parameters like femur length,Biparietal diameter,Head circumference ,Abdominal circumference and fetal weight are also normal.
5.Average age of fetus is 22 weeks.
So,you have normal USG reports.
Hope you have understand the terms.
Take Care
