38 Weeks Pregnant, Have Intense Pressure During Urination With Feeling Of Protruding Vaginal And Anal Area. Worrisome?
Hello, I am 38wreks 4 days pregnant and I lost my mucus plug two days ago. Now when I sit to urinate there is SO much pressure and it now seems as though my vaginal and anal area protrude when I sit down. It almost hurts to walk too. Contractions are irregular but that pressure is crazy. Should I be concerned? Email is YYYY@YYYY

That pressure is likely the babies head. The mucus discharge / plug is an indication of thinning and dilation of the cervix. Given these new symptoms today, you NEED to be seen and checked. It is likely that you might be in early labor.
