Hello Doctor, My mother, she s 54 yrs old has been noticing a hard small lump on her tongue since exactly one month. For the last one month it was non-reducing and since last 3 days she feels it has reduced from its initial 1 cm size. There is no bleeding except one day when she rigorously cleaned her tongue with a tongue cleaner . She complains of no pain usually, and little pain when the lump is touched. There is not much discoloration its slightly transparent white over it. Kindly advice.
