7 Month Baby, Less Appetite. What Type Of Diet Should Be Taken?
My baby will be 7 months old on 11th of May......my concern is that he eats very less as compare to his age and only weighs 6.90 kgs at age of 6.5 mnths his birth weight was also only 2.8 kgs...in previous months he was having good quantity of formula milk but now a days he drinks only around about 300 ml of milk in a day and total 4-5 spoons of semi solid diet in a day.....he i svery moody too ..he likes things for 2 days only and 3rd day just refuse to eat the same like he did with almond paste......and he also do not like salty things ..like dal and khichdi etc.......I tried halwa as well he refused that too.......only likes apple and banana.....and rics cerelac also he liked when we started the same at age of 4 and 1/2 month after 15 days he didn't find it tasty and then I swicthe dto wheat cerelac but that also work at very less times,....plz let m eknow what should I feed him....would be very thankful if you can share a diet chart for him
hi ! a normal infant gains 30 gm / day during first 3 months of life & 15 grams/ day during the next 3 months. keeping that in mind your child is doing pretty well. normally all the kids are a bit cranky at this age as the teething process starts & a lot of parents come to us with the same complaint. if the weight gain is appropriate we just assure them that it is a passing phase. keep offering him a variety of food items as he may get bored of a monotonous diet plan. take care & don't worry.

hi ! a normal infant gains 30 gm / day during first 3 months of life & 15 grams/ day during the next 3 months. keeping that in mind your child is doing pretty well. normally all the kids are a bit cranky at this age as the teething process starts & a lot of parents come to us with the same complaint. if the weight gain is appropriate we just assure them that it is a passing phase. keep offering him a variety of food items as he may get bored of a monotonous diet plan. take care & don t worry.
