75 Years Old, Bypass Operation Done, Went Into Coma. MRI Detected Stroke, Thrombus In Brain. History Of Diabetes. Prognosis?
Hi, My father in law, had a bypass operation about two weeks ago, three days he was good, and then suddenly he went to a comma. Doctors say from his MRI that he had a stroke and thrombus in his brain. He is in ICU now, he is also a diabetic man. Now he is in comma more than 10 days. Is there any hope to wake up?He is about 75 years old.

Dear friend, feel sorry for the unfortunate event.
but to tell you about outcome I will need to see the scsn / report.
but not waking after 10 days is worrisome.
recovery depends on many factors. can not advise adequately online. but if can give more info, maybe I can advise.
