8 Month Child Having Cough With Green Mucus Like Chest Congestion. Could It Be Croup Or Ear Infection?
My 8 month old daughter suddenly came down with a raspy, hoarse cough . She has green tinged mucous and what sounds like chest congestion. Until a week and half ago she was sleeping in her crib fine but now she won t stay down longer than an hour. She s also been tugging at her ears, so the day care says. Could it be croup? An ear infection?

You may be right, this may be a croup, but an ear infection needs to be ruled out by a pediatric examination too,
I would recommend using painkiller like Paracetamol, Ibuprofen, and getting her to a pediatrician as soon as possible,
