8 Year Old Having Unhealed Wound Which Needed Stitches And Granulation. Using Mederma For Scars. Appearance Of A Blister. Advice?

Hi, MY 8 YEAR OLD DAUGHTER HAD A LEG WOUND THAT REQUIRED STITCHES THAT OPENED BACK UP AND HAD TO BE REMOVED. 2 MONTHS OF GRANULATION AND CONTRACTING TISSUE AND THE WOUND FINALLY CLOSED. WE HAVE BEEN USING MEDERMA AS WELL AS SUN SCREEN STICK TO KEEP THE WOUND SHIELDED FROM THE SUN. tODAY HER WOUND HAS A BLISTER ON IT ALMOST THE SIZE OF THE SCAR AND IT IS JUST UNDER A THIN LAYER OF THE SCAR SKIN. PLEASE ADVISE

Hi dear you 8 year old daughter having a scar on leg, secondary to a wound,and now blister under scar .one important thing you have not mentioned is on which part of the leg,however,scar will not go by sun screen cream,and by mederma ointment,although latter claims so.if scar is big and looks ugly it can be removed by plastic surgeon.the blister you mentioning under scar seems most probably due to infection,or allergic reaction to the ointment your using
