Helllo Sardanaau,
Exclusive breast feeding is very good for you and your baby. I feel that your baby was taking your breast milk properly before one week, so most probably youare using the right technique. But still i woulk like to highlight few common mistakes which is done by many mothers.
1. Check that your baby's position is proper, his nose and hands are not getting pressed by you.
2..At a time, you should breast feed only from one breast. In between and after the completion of feed, you should burp her.
if your breasts are engorged, you should first do warm compress, bit of
massage from outer to inner side toward s nipple, and then discard hdiscard few mililitre of milk. Once your breasts are bit soft, then you put your nipple on the angle of your baby's mouth. If your baby is hungry, she will open her mouth widely, then you give your breast, she has to press on the
areola ( not on the nipple), milk will flow.
Do not give Simethicon, it can cause itching over mouth and tongue, which can further reduce the sucking. Did u vaccinate your child recently. That can also make the babies bit restless.
Check that she is not getting any
rash over the skin.
if she doesn't improve, you may take her to the Doctor, who can rule out some other problems, like
ear infection etc.
keep patience, do not start top feed.
Take care.
