Hi,I am Neethu Vipin (Dietitian & Nutritionist). I will be looking into your question and guiding you through the process. Please write your question below.
Breakfast- 1 1\2 peanut butter and jelly sandwich
Lunch- 2 english muffins with peanut butter
Snack- half bagel with butter
Dinner- steak, baked potato, and broccoli
Snack- kit kat bar, snicker bar
Sounds like you had enough calories, but not enough fruits and vegetables! Sticking with your basic menu, I'm going to show how you could amp it up very easily:
Breakfast: 1 Peanut Butter and Jelly Sandwich, 1 Cup of Milk, 1 Apple
Lunch: Mixed Greens Salad with Tomato, 1 English Muffin with Peanut Butter, 1 Banana
Snack: 1/2 bagel with butter, grapes
Dinner: Steak, baked potato, and broccoli (yum!)
Snack: Kit Kat Bar OR Snicker Bar OR 1 of each if they're the fun size ones from trick or treating! :)
