Accidentally Nair Went In To Vagina. Burns. Taken Ibuprofen. What Can I Do?
Hi Dr. Lundi. This is actually pretty embarrassing but I used Nair today on my bikini line and some accidentally must have gotten directly on my vagina . I only noticed it after removing with a washcloth. It really burns even with cold water. I have taken an ibuprofen but is there anything that I can do to ease the pain/burn?

In such a situation it would be best to visit a doctor, as depending on the local presentation some chemical burns may require medication.
But for now, please do not apply anything on the region, keep the area dry and clean, avoid wearing anything tight in the region (preferably avoid wearing undergarments) or wear only loose cotton undergarments.
