Acid Reflux, Heartburn, Throat Pain. Abdominal Pressure, Fever, Nausea, Dizziness. What Is Wrong?
I have been having horrible acid reflux and heart burn to the point my throat hurts. I also have a pressure pain in my abdomen area. I have been getting fevers off and on with chills then immediate sweats. I also cannot seem to eat without burping and having pain of any sort. I am nauseous and get dizzy sometimes. What could be wrong? What should I take? Or do?
As you rightly mentioned you are suffering from gastroesophageal reflux diseases (GERD) or gastritis and it seems you will be requiring some appropriate medication after you must have been checked by a doctor who may run some tests including H. pylori, complete blood count, CRP, ESR etc. Your doctor may need to rule out other causes of throat or abdominal pain such as biliary colic. Ones he has confirmed or ruled out GERD, then treatment might follow with antibiotics (clarithromycin + amoxicillin) combined to a PPI such as omeprazole.
Hope this helps
