Hi Doctor, I am suffering from acne for the last 4 months, lately I have observed that my face is full of dark acne marks. I consulted a dermatologist and he prescribed me Minoz 50 mg once a day and Glyco 6 cream to apply twice daily on the affected area. Its 2 months now I am taking Minoz and applying Glyco 6 but my condition is still the same. More acne is appearing daily. Should I continue taking Minoz and applying Glyco 6?
hi acne not responding to minoz od and glyco 6 cream should be treated with isotretinion 20 mg alternate day for 3-6 months according to grade of acne.after that dark spots can be cured by application of acnemoiste in the morning and melaglow in the evening.if still no response try chemical peels like mandelic acid and azalic acid
