Acne On Cheeks, Painful Pimples, Inflammation. Suggest Tropical Cream?
Hi, I have acne on my cheeks, which has got aggravated in the last two months. It is concentrated on my lower jaw and chin mostly, I do have 1-2 pimples here and there. The pimples are mostly painful and inflamed, some of them also have a head. I am 32 and have been getting these since my early 20s. I want to know what topical cream I should use to soothe the inflammation and reduce the pimples?

Hi acne is most common feature of teenegers.buy very rare in 32 yrs age.at that age it is mainly due to hormonal imbalance hence go for hormonal assay like testosterone.thyroid hormone etc.it can be cured by minocycline 100 mg at night and epiduo cream at night for short contact therapy can cure it.use a good salsilic acid face wash to reduce oilness.if not cured use isotrenion 20 mg alternate day for 2-3months can cure it

It seems that you are having acne vulgaris from long time.
It is multifactorial disease.
You may be having tendency to develop acne vulgaris.
Stress may be responsible.
Oily food,milk,sleeplessness,travelling,worries,certain drugs...etc may exacerbate the acne lesions.
Take minocycline,zinc sulfate and isotretinoin in low dose for long time.
Apply adapalene gel at night.
Cleanse the face with salicylic acid containing face wash.
I feel, you may be improved.
