After Having Sex, Feel Pain In Level With Belly Button And Have Bleeding. Suggestions?
i am a 46 year old female , recently after having sex with my partner i got a very painfule searing pain just level with my belly button,then a day after i started bleeding very pure red blood! I havnt had a period since november , but the last 2 times i have had sex iv had the pain and started bleeding , do i need to see my gp?

Pain and bleeding after sex, would be due to
- Cervical pathology
- Minor vaginal abrasion due to dryness
-Menses which is less likely.
You should consult your gynecologist to rule out cervical pathology.
Doctor may advise you to go for some tests including ultrasound. Treatment would be directed as per cause.
