Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.
I would explain that your symptoms could be related to the vagal nerve stimulation during the procedure, which is a normal physiological reflex which may occur during this procedure.
If this episode of bradycardia keeps repeating, I would recommend performing an ambulatory 24-48 hours ECG monitoring to investigate for possible cardiac arrhythmia.
Some people have a low base line heart rate especially among athletes and sports person. Nothing much to worry and you can go for an ECG to rule out any rhythm anomalies.
Hope I have answered your query.
Let me know if I can assist you further.
