Any Explanations For The Speedy Price Increase Of Etodolac 500mg ?
I am a long time user of Etodolac 500mg. I don't recall ever seeing a price increase for the prescription. It was always 30-40 per month for a 30 day supply. Between Oct and Nov of 2013, the cost went from 40 to 145 per month, an increase of 250%.I do have rx coverage but this increase will put me in the Medicare coverage gap very quickly. My pharmacy and my carrier are both at a loss to explain this increase. Can you explain it? Thanks

All the Pharma companies have their own strategies and yet governed by a Government laws. The moment a particular drug is removed from a list of controlled price-list , the companies enjoy the luxury to have a brand value benefit.
