Any Side Effects Of Benzonatate? Can I Take Benzonatate, Hydrocodone Together?
My doctor prescribed Benzonatate 100mg four times a day for a cough - so many side effects I am afraid to take it. I also take hydrocodone for my spinal stenosis. I have a lung problem with scar tissue on my right lung. how much medicine can a person take and not be terrified of the after effects?

Benzonatate usually does not have serious side effects.Usually it is given 3-4 times daily for 5-7 days,without much trouble.Effects like sedation/nausea/abdominal discomfort are usually mild and well tolerated.
When taken along with hydrocodone,a slightly increased sedation can occur.
